Battalion Operations Sergeant
Serves as Battalion Operations Sergeant for 324 Soldiers and Army Civilians in a hybrid signal battalion supporting the U.S. Army Alaska (USARAK) with units located at three geographically dispersed installations; advises the S3 on satellite operations; prepares operations orders, coordinates for gateway and satellite access requests, assists in the installation and operation of tactical communications packages; coordinates, assigns, and tracks taskings from higher headquarters; prepares and transmits battalion updates to higher headquarters as required; Unit Safety Warrior.


25P3O NCOIC, Combat Sustainment Support Battalion
NCOIC for the 373rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) consisting of over 1,100 customers in eight companies; responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of 234 Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) throughout the Multi-National Division -Baghdad Area of Operation; provides communication support of Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), Combat Service Support Automation Information Systems Interface (CAISI) and the Standard Army Maintenance System - Enhanced (SAMS-E); provides network technical training and guidance to two NCOs and six Soldiers.


Maintenance Team Chief
Configures, aligns, operates and performs unit level and direct support maintenance on microwave communications and technical control equipment, and associated devices; performs maintenance and systems troubleshooting on Digital Group Multiplexor (DGM), TROPO and Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE); monitor, fault isolates, and restores telecommunications circuits, trunk groups, systems, and associated commercial and military interface equipment.
