Sometimes it's hard to get started writing a citation. But if you think about it, the beginning and end of the citation are, with variations, pretty standard. Which means all you really have to come up with is the text describing the accomplishment. Because citations for the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal are limited to six lines total and the typical beginning and ending use up about three of those lines, you're limited to three or four lines to describe the action being recognized.
The Citation Drafter Beta is for use in drafting citations. It automatically enters the beginning and ending lines. Just fill in the requested information and enter a three or four line accomplishment and click submit to put it all together and see how it looks! The citation may be edited by clicking back and resubmitting until satisfied. Then copy and paste.
