MOS 00F - MOS Immaterial, National Guard Bureau (NGB)

00F4O Range Operations NCO
Serves as a Range Operations NCO; contacts units prior to their arrival; coordinates resource requirements with using units and tasks Range Operations personnel in order to meet requests; works closely with the Senior Operations NCOIC; makes update to current SOPs; serves as Range Operations NCOIC on weekends.


00F3X RSP Instructor
Performs duties as an Instructor for a Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) detachment; responsible for the health, welfare, and training of a 118 Soldier detachment; acts as a positive role model for all RSP Soldiers by portraying the seven Army values; provides instructions in all common skills and ensures strict adherence of safety procedures during training; conducts all training to standard using the assist and insist method of training; coordinates all recourse requirements to support the program of instruction.


IG Team Member
Oversees Internal Control Toolset for 4 Battalions and 2 tenant units; assesses mission readiness and compliance; instructs 16 NCOs/inspectors on policy; tracks 110 programs and develops metrics for assessment; conducts scheduled and unscheduled inspections; reports findings in IG Evaluation Management System; provides solutions; tracks and updates discrepancies; provides monthly metrics to Commander's Inspection Management Board.


Equal Opportunity (EO) Advisor
Serves as an Equal Opportunity advisor to a Combined Joint Task Force deployed to Kandahar Afganistan; assists in the implemetation of the EO program; receives and processes complaints; conducts staff assistance visits to subordinate Task Forces and Sustainment commands; disseminates EO policies and guidance to over 12,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and civilians; coordinates and instructs a 40 hour Equal Opportunity Leaders course and a 20 hour Victims Advocate Course; plans, coordinates, and implements ethnic observances to include arranging guest speakers; collects, organizes, and interprets quarterly demographic EO data.


Reserve Service Member (RSM)
Serves as a Reserve Service Member (RSM); performs Inactive Duty for training and Annual training in support of readiness, registration, training, recruiting, policy development and any other Selective Service mission requirements directed by the Regional Headquarters (RHQ).


Reserve Forces Officer (RFO)
In the event of a draft, RFOs open and staff more than 10 Selective Service regional area offices, be assigned to state headquarters, and serve as liaison officers at Military Entrance Processing Stations; administers an alternative civilian service program in lieu of military duty for men classified as conscientious objectors (COs) by a Selective Service board.
