MOS 11B (PSD) PLATOON SERGEANT
Platoon Sergeant of 14 man Protective Services Detachment Platoon tasked with guarding the Battalion Command Team in support of combat operation in XXXXXX, Afghanistan; responsible for the health, welfare, morale, training, discipline, physical conditioning, and professional development of the entire platoon; ensures the combat readiness of a platoon capable of worldwide deployment in 36 hours notice; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of all weapons, vehicles, and equipment organic to the platoon worth in excess of $3,000,000.




Platoon Sergeant/11B4OF7
Platoon Sergeant for a 45 man Stryker equipped Infantry platoon consisting of three rifle squads, a weapons squad, and four Stryker vehicles capable of deploying anywhere in the world within 96 hours; responsible for the training and tactical employment of the platoon in full spectrum operations with a focus on MOUT, limited visibility and precision operations; responsible for the combat readiness, physical fitness, health, welfare, morale, conduct and force protection of the platoon and the well being of their families; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of equipment valued in excess of $8 Million.




MOS INFANTRY 11B/Platoon Sergeant
Responsible for the morale, health, and training of a 39 man Rifle Platoon; responsible for the maintenance, accountability, and effective utilization of all platoon-assigned weapons, night observation devices, communications equipment, and individual equipment worth over $500,000; counsels, disciplines, and develops soldiers and NCOs into competent leaders; maintains the highest state of combat readiness regardless of conditions and personnel changes.




Platoon Sergeant in a Light Airborne Rifle Company
Responsible for the morale, health, and training of a 39 man Rifle Platoon; responsible for the maintenance, accountability, and effective utilization of all platoon assigned equipment worth in excess of $800,000.00; counsels, disciplines, and develops soldiers and NCOs into competent leaders; maintains the highest state of combat readiness regardless of conditions and personnel changes.
