Construction Engineering Technician
Supervises and coordinates construction of base camps, internment, and other facilities; reviews project specifications; supervises the construction, repair, and maintenance of vertical infrastructure, horizontal roadway, and foundation networks; supervises the installation and repair of water supply systems, plumbing, sewage, and heating and air conditioning systems; inspects and accepts contractor work; prepares quality control, safety, and facility inspection checklists.
120A/Construction Engineer Technician
Represents the Commander in all aspects of construction planning; provides advice and technical assistance on all facets of electrical power and power distribution; supervises teams performing theater prime power missions; coordinates with Navy Seabees and other agencies; maintains and operates power generation systems, environmental control units, water, waste, fuel, and electrical distribution systems; inspects and accepts contractor work.
Construction Engineering Manager
Plans, conducts, and prepares planning studies for engineer work projects; estimates project costs; reviews and resolves facility environmental concerns; develops training strategies; reviews and writes doctrine; presents engineering instruction to officers, warrant officers, and NCOs; assists with Army Corps of Engineers disaster relief missions; oversees Environmental program and complies with Fort Polk Regulation 200-1; appoints unit Environmental Compliance Officers.
