Production Control NCOIC for 1-17 Air Cavalry Squadron
Serves as Production Control NCOIC for 1-17 Air Cavalry Squdron; responsible for the planning and execution of field and sustainment level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 21 AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopters valued at over $500 million; assists in the coordination of daily maintenance actions; establishes the priorities of work; responsible for the professional development, safety, morale, welfare and combat effectiveness of four Soldiers; coordinates the actions of four separate Troops within the unit to ensure unity of effort and sustainment of combat power; provides aircraft status reports and updates to the unit commander.


15R40 Attack Maintenance Section Sergeant
Serves as a Maintenance Section Sergeant in an AH-64D/E Apache Airframe Repair Platoon; responsible for the supervision, discipline, and training of 30 Soldiers and 9 NCOs, including the health and welfare of their families; provides maintenance recommendations to Platoon Leaders and Unit Commanders regarding man hours, personnel, parts and facility requirements to repair aircraft and associated equipment; supervises and administers the Aviation Maintenance Training Program (AMTP); responsible for the planning, training, and execution of unscheduled and heavy maintenance of __ AH-64D/E Apache helicopters and related ground support equipment valued in excess of $500 million.


Platoon Sergeant
Serves as a Platoon Sergeant in an AH-64D Apache Longbow Helicopter Attack Reconnaissance Company; responsible for the supervision, discipline, and training of 10 Soldiers and two NCOs, including the health and welfare of them and their families; provides maintenance recommendations to Platoon Leaders regarding aircraft readiness; responsible for the planning, training, and execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of six AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters and related ground support equipment valued in excess of $280 million.


Instructor, AH-64D Repairer Curriculum
Responsible for the instruction of the AH-64D Longbow Apache Helicopter Repairer curriculum; contributes to the development and preparation of instruction; provides subject-matter expertise for the 128th Aviation Brigade; writes, researches, revises, and rehearses lesson plans; supervises students in the performance of maintenance on 17 AH-64D training devices valued at more than $183 million; supports the training load of over 400 technically qualified aviation maintenance Soldiers who are immediately capable of supporting combat operations.


Training Developer
Serves as a Training Developer for 1-210th Aviation Regiment; responsible for the quality of resident training for the 15R1O AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer course and 15R3O Professional Military Education course; reviews, analyses, and implements programs of instruction (POI) updates in coordination with subject matter experts (SME); provides quality control and guidance for the writing and implementation of lesson plans and evaluations; ensures compliance with all TRADOC and 128th Aviation Bridge regulations; serves as a SME for the Training Development Capability (TDC) System for the Course Management Office (CMO).


15R30 AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer
Serves as an AH-64D Maintenance Platoon Sergeant assigned to D Co, 4-501st ARB; supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinates performing aircraft and subsystem maintenance; evaluates the technical training program, maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies; performs maintenance trend analysis; plan, conducts and supervises aircraft technical inspections; responsible for the health, welfare, morale, and professional development of five NCOs and 21 Soldiers and their Families; responsible for equipment valued over $200 million.


15R20 AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer
Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components; services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems; prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks; performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections; performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required; uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and aircraft ground support equipment.




10-15R. MOS 15R, AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer (AH-64 Attack Hel Rep), CMF 15

a. Major Duties. A Soldier in MOS 15R performs and/or supervises inspections, maintenance and modifications according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals, and safety procedures on the AH-64A/D armament, electrical and avionics systems and cryptographic equipment to include the electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneudraulics systems associated with AH-64A/D Armament/Missile Fire Control Systems. Tests, troubleshoots and repairs test sets and diagnostic equipment. Maintains records on weapons and subsystems. Uses and performs operator maintenance on common and special tools. Prepares aircraft related maintenance forms and records. Typically assigned to Aviation Field or Sustainment maintenance units.

Duties for MOS 15R at each level of skill are:

(1) MOSC 15R1O. Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems. Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections. Performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Maintains facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials. Requisitions and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft systems and equipment. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.

(2) MOSC 15R2O. Performs duties described in paragraph (1) and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel. Performs operational checks and scheduled inspections. Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft subsystems. Monitor hazardous material control and storage.

(3) MOSC 15R3O. Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing duties described in paragraphs (1, 2) and evaluates the technical training program. Evaluate maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures and operational policies. Performs maintenance trend analysis and applies production control, quality control and other maintenance management principles and procedures to airplane maintenance operations. Plans, conducts and supervises aircraft technical inspections. Compute basic weight and balance records. Participate in maintenance test flights. Ensure compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army Oil Analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic calibration.

(4) MOSC 15R4O. Supervises aircraft maintenance and technical inspection activities. Determine man-hours, personnel, parts and facility requirements to repair aircraft and associated equipment. Plans aircraft maintenance areas, component repair shops and facilities. Instructs subordinates in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards and operational policies. Maintains supply economy and discipline. Supervises the technical training program. Prepares evaluations, special reports and records pertaining to aircraft maintenance repair and related activities. Recommends and administers plans and policies.
