Army Reserve Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Serves as an Army Reserve Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Platoon Leader; delivers expert anesthesia care to military personnel, ensuring their safety and comfort during surgical procedures; administers general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care; manages acute and chronic pain; responds to medical emergencies; leads and manages a platoon of medical professionals, ensuring their training, readiness, and execution of medical tasks; coordinates care with other medical teams; maintains equipment and supplies.




Nurse Anesthetist
Serves as a Nurse Anesthetist for Macdill Air Force Base; evaluates patients' condition with respect to anesthesia requirements; anesthetizes patients for a broad range of surgeries; observes patient during surgery and adjusts treatment as necessary; provides immediate post-anesthetic care to patients; inspects, tests, and maintains all equipment and anesthetics; assists surgery teams and submits After Action Reports as required.




Nurse Anesthetist
Serves as a Nurse Anesthetist specialist for Eisenhower Army Medical Center; explains types of anesthesia used and possible complications; administers anesthesia by inhalation, endotracheal intubation, intravenous, and other methods; sets up intravenous solutions and maintains proper flow rate; performs invasive monitoring and interprets data; adjusts delivery of anesthetic agents and adjunctive drugs to support the patient's respiratory, circulatory, and renal functions.

Fills critical role as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA); evaluates patients and determines the need for and administers parenteral fluids, including blood, and plasma; administers vasoactive drugs as required; maintains situational awareness as a member of the surgery team; maintains anesthesia at appropriate levels and manages anesthetic care throughout surgery; monitors the patient to maintain proper level of anesthesia; provides post-anesthetic care to patients.
