Utilities Equipment Repairer 91C2O
Serves as a Utilities Equipment Repairer for a Forward Support Company in support of a Combined Arms Battalion; performs daily maintenance activities and manages priorities of work for 24 battalion MTOE ground support equipment; provides supervision and technical guidance to subordinates on scheduled services and unscheduled maintenance to include troubleshooting procedures and quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for internal combustion engines, portable forced air heaters, air conditioner units and refrigeration units; responsible for tools and equipment valued in excess of $300,000; responsible for the morale, health, welfare, professional development of five Soldiers and the care of their families.




Utilities Equipment Repairer
Serves as the Engineer section Utilities Equipment Repair supervisor; supervises and trains 9 soldiers; plans, organizes, and schedules direct support maintenance activities of HVAC equipment; applies management principles in establishing priorities and allocating workloads; controls the requisitioning, storage and inventory of shop equipment, bench stock and publications; responsible for tools and equipment valued in excess of $300,000.




91C30 Senior Chemical and Quartermaster Equipment Repairer
Serves as the Senior Chemical and Quartermaster equipment repairer of 947th Quartermaster Company in a Petroleum Support Company; responsible for the accountability, welfare, physical fitness, administrative actions, and counseling of 42 Soldiers and 5 Non-Commissioned Officers as Platoon Sergeant of 4th Platoon; inspects and troubleshoots air conditioner units, refrigeration units, 350 GPM pumps used for Fuel System Supply Points, and heaters; performs maintenance management activities, including quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) over scheduled vehicle and equipment services and repairs.




91C30 Senior Equipment Utilities Repairer
Serves as the Senior Equipment Utilities Repairer of a Supply Service Activity (SSA) in a General Support Company (Quartermaster); responsible for the accountability, welfare, physical fitness, administrative actions, counseling of one NCO and four Soldiers; inspects and troubleshoots air conditioner units and refrigeration units; performs maintenance management activities, including quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) over scheduled vehicle services; serves as the unit's Enviromental Control NCOIC, ensuring that the unit is in compliance with Fort Hood, the state of Texas and the Army's environmental rules and regulations.




91C20 Utilities Equipment Repairer
Supervises lower grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; inspects and troubleshoots petroleum, oil and lubrication equipment, smoke generators, laundry and bath units, chemical equipment, water purification equipment systems, portable forced air heaters, bottle cleaning/charging station, air conditioner units, refrigeration units and fire extinguisher recharges; perform maintenance management activities, including production and quality control.






MOS 91C - Utilities Equipment Repairer

Major duties. The utilities equipment repairer supervises and performs field level maintenance on utilities equipment and special purpose support systems. Duties for MOS 91C at each skill level are:

MOSC 91C10. Maintains (inspects, repairs, tests and adjusts) air conditioner electrical systems, air conditioner vapor systems, refrigeration unit electrical systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, fire extinguisher rechargers and fire extinguishers and valves.

MOSC 91C20. Performs duties in preceding skill level; supervises junior grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties.

MOSC 91C30. Performs duties in preceding skill levels; performs quartermaster and chemical equipment repairer (MOS 91J) duties, supervises junior grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; inspects and troubleshoots petroleum, oil and lubrication equipment, smoke generators, laundry and bath units, chemical equipment, water purification equipment systems, portable forced air heaters, air conditioner units, refrigeration units and fire extinguisher rechargers; performs maintenance management activities, including production and quality control.
