91F20 Small Arms/ Artillery Repairer
Serves as a Small Arms/ Artillery Repairer for the 703rd BSB Armament Section; responsible for the Field and Sustainment level support maintenance of 4500 weapons which include the M9, M4, M16, M14 EBR, M500, M249, M240 Series, M2, M203, M320, MK19, M119A2 Howitzers, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars; responsible for the diagnosing, repairs, disposition, evacuation and movement of all equipment requiring higher level maintenance; responsible for the health, welfare, and training of 2 Soldiers; accountable for tools and equipment valued at over $100,000.00.
Senior Small Arms/ Artillery Repairer
Serves as the Senior Small Arms/ Artillery Repairer in the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment; responsible for the direct and general support maintenance of 1300 weapons which include the M240 series, M320, MK 19, M9, M249, M500, CROW, M4, M16, Remote Weapons Station (RWS), M777A2 Howitzer, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars; responsible for the disposition, evacuation and movement of all equipment requiring higher maintenance; responsible for the health, welfare, and training of 5 Soldiers; maintains accountability of over $300,000 worth of repair parts and $500,000 worth of Army equipment
MOS 91F - Small Arms/Towed Artillery Repairer
Major Duties. The Small Arms/Towed Artillery Repairer performs field level maintenance and repairs on small arms and other infantry weapons and towed artillery. Duties for MOS 91F at each skill level are:
MOSC 91F10. Performs field level maintenance on small arms and other infantry weapons and towed artillery; performs field level maintenance on periscopes, telescopes, commander's weapon station and auxiliary sights, aiming circles, image transfer assemblies, quadrants, mount assemblies, fire control support equipment, and test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE); performs battlefield damage assessment and repair (BDAR).
MOSC 91F20. Performs duties in preceding skill level; supervises junior grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions of small arms and other infantry weapons and towed artillery.
MOSC 91F30. Performs duties in preceding skill levels; supervises junior grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; inspects and troubleshoots fire control system components, towed artillery fire control systems, self-propelled artillery fire control systems, tank fire control systems, small arms, other infantry weapons and towed artillery; classifies equipment for disposal IAW Army regulations.
