Rear Detachment Platoon Sergeant (15Y40)
Serves as a Platoon Sergeant in a Battalion Rear Detachment; responsible for the health, welfare, training and professional development of six NCO's and 15 Soldiers; plans, coordinates and supervises activities pertaining to organization, training and operations; recommends and administers plans and policies; sets priorities of work and organizational goals for assigned personnel in support of forward deployed element and rear detachment to include family members; maintains supply economy and discipline for HHC 2-159th ARB Leave Behind Equipment (LBE) valued in excess of $3,400,000.


Platoon Sergeant
Manages the training, health and welfare of personnel and their families during deployments; teaches, coaches and mentors junior managers to be successful in management, training and physical fitness; advises the First Sergeant on planning and execution of all training and operational readiness; advises the Command Sergeant Major on planning and execution of operations during deployment; manages 6 million dollars worth of equipment during deployment operations and in garrison; helps personnel to perform to standard while complying with safety constraints.


Platoon Sergeant
Serve as the principal advisor to the first Sergeant and Commander; responsible for the health and welfare of 11 NCOs, 12 Soldiers and 8 DA civilians responsible for the health, welfare, morale, discipline and performance; responsible for personal and professional counseling, comply with standard operating procedures, inspections and physical fitness; trains, supervises and performs duties as a parachute rigger of life support equipment for the U.S. Army Airborne School, Jumpmaster, Pathfinder School, Ranger Training Brigade (RTB), Warrior Training Center (WTC).


Platoon Sergeant 92W40
Serves as a Platoon Sergeant in a Brigade Support Battalion; Alpha Company, 126th BSB, 79th Troop Command; responsible for the discipline, accountability and development of 17 Soldiers and 5 NCOs; supervises personnel readiness, maintenance, and utilization of five Fuel trucks; two Load Handling Systems (LHS); and two Tank and Pump Unit (TPU), one Light Water Purification System (LWPS); one Tactical Water Purification System (TWPS); 11 HIPPO's with trailers, weapons and additional equipment valued in excess over $12,000,000; enforces technical and tactical training standards for unit mission accomplishments.
