Positive Adjectives for Awards and NCOERs

Below is a list of positive adjectives that may be used to describe your troop's performance in NCOERs and award submissions. Adjectives should be chosen wisely. There's never enough room to say everything that we want to say about our troops' performance so it's important to make the best use of the limited space and make every word count. For example if you wrote that a person was, "the epitome of efficiency and effectiveness", although it sounds nice, those two words mean roughly the same thing. You could have used another word that more completely described the person's character such as "dependable and efficient".
