Meritorious service while serving as Financial Liability Investigating Officer, 1190th Transportation Brigade, U.S. Army Forces Command, from 13 July 2020 to 20 June 2022. During this period, Second Lieutenant Sanders' outstanding professional skill and knowledge as the Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss Investigating Officer (FLIPL-IO) aided immeasurably in identifying service members that have lost or damaged property. He completed 17 short suspense investigations that produced thorough and legally sufficient FLIPLs for six units within the 1190th Transportation Brigade. Additionally, Second Lieutenant Sanders reviewed and returned an additional 16 FLIPLs for corrections, improving accuracy and the finding of responsibility by fifty percent. Second Lieutenant Sanders' sterling performance reflects great credit upon himself, the 1190th Transportation Brigade and the United States Army.
