SERGEANT ERLICH PLAYED AN INTEGRAL ROLE IN RECRUITING, SUSTAINING AND ENLISTING PERSONNEL INTO THE VIRGINIA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD. SERGEANT ERLICH MENTORED OVER 100 NEW RECRUITS SUPPORTED BY THE VIRGINIA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD RECRUITING AND RETENTION BATTALION AND ENSURED THEY WERE PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY PREPARED TO FACE THE CHALLENGES OF BASIC COMBAT TRAINING. HIS HIGH LEVEL OF INVOLVEMENT UPHELD THE UNIT'S HIGH SUCCESS RATE AND THE READINESS OF THE TOTAL FORCE. STAFF SERGEANT CYNTHIA GUNN DISTINGUISHED HERSELF THROUGH OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AS A RECRUITING AND RETENTION BATTALION, RECRUIT SUSTAINMENT PROGRAM (RSP) CADRE NCO, SIGNIFICANTLY CONTRIBUTING TO THE SUCCESS OF 16 RSP DRILLS AND THE OVERALL RSP PROGRAM. SERGEANT GUNN DEMONSTRATED EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND DEDICATION IN FOSTERING A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT THROUGH HER FOCUS ON MASTER RESILIENCY TRAINING. HER EFFORTS SET A STANDARD OF RESILIENCE THAT POSITIVELY IMPACTED RSP WARRIORS, STAFF, AND SUPERIORS, ENHANCING OVERALL MORALE AND EFFECTIVENESS. IN ADDITION, SHE INSTRUCTED OVER 20 HOURS OF MRT ON MULTIPLE RSP TEAM BUILDING EXERCISES AND SERVED AS THE BATTALION AUTOMATION NCO, ENSURING THE CONTINUOUS MOBILITY OF RSP CLASSROOMS. HER EXPERTISE STREAMLINED OPERATIONS AND FACILITATED EFFICIENT TRAINING DELIVERY, SIGNIFICANTLY CONTRIBUTING TO THE PROGRAM'S SUCCESS. FINALLY, SHE NAVIGATED THE YEARLY TRAINING PLAN AND BATTLE RHYTHM FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS, ENSURING NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU ACCREDITATION SUCCESS. STAFF SERGEANT JONES' EXEMPLARY ATTENDANCE AT OVER 36 RSP DRILLS REFLECTS HIS STEADFAST COMMITMENT TO THE READINESS AND TRAINING OF FUTURE SOLDIERS, ENSURING THEY ARE WELL PREPARED FOR THE CHALLENGES AHEAD.
