Coordinated and executed a thorough SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention) refresher course, educating more than 200 Soldiers. This initiative improved their ability to recognize harassment, reinforced their preparedness, and strengthened their dedication to supporting a safe and productive work environment throughout the Battalion.
Conducted comprehensive training sessions on political extremism for an audience of over 200 Soldiers, equipping them with a deep understanding of the subject matter and its threat to security. This educational effort empowered them to proactively identify and effectively counter extremist ideologies, significantly bolstering the Battalion's resilience against internal threats to unity and readiness.
Cultivated a workplace environment characterized by teamwork and productivity. During this period, there were zero reported cases of Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) incidents. Her unwavering commitment to creating a secure and respectful workplace environment eliminated obstacles to unit cohesion and increased efficiency.
As unit commander, facilitated the promotion of 13 Soldiers, the graduation of 11 Soldiers from NCOES, and the reenlistment of 23 Soldiers who were considering separation from the Army Reserve. Her intrusive and effective mentorship extended to two lieutenants and two captains, providing invaluable insights into effective command.
For distinguishing herself through many volunteer hours assisting the SHARP program in raising awareness about matters pertaining to sexual harassment and assault. SPC X is leading the charge in our prevention efforts by being transparent. She serves as an inspiration to both men and women alike in that everyone has a role in preventing sexual harassment and assault from occurring. SPC X has served and continues to serve the Fort Carson Community in our efforts to fight Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault by giving the issue of harassment and assault a voice and a face from Jul 2016 - present. Her tireless efforts and continued determination to support the SHARP Program were instrumental in the overall success of the FCCO Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2016. Her distinctive accomplishments reflect great credit upon herself, her unit and the United States Army.
