HE TOOK CHARGE OF THE SOLDIERS ASSIGNED TO RUN THE FIRES OPERATIONS IN THE BDE TOC, SET UP THE AFATDS, CPOF, AND EMT AND DIRECTED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MIRC COMMUNICATION WITH OTHER UNITS. HE DEVELOPED REPORTING AND TRACKING SHEETS AND TRAINED ONE SOLDIER ON THE OPERATIONS OF AFATDS. SFC MEYERS ASSUMED A VARIETY OF ROLES WITHIN THE BDE. HE WAS THE FIRE SUPPORT NCO, ASSISTED WITH ELECTRONIC WARFARE OFFICER DUTIES, AND ASSISTED THE 1-113 CAV FIRES CELL AS THE FIRE SUPPORT NCO.
