Board Competition Winner
SGT Stevens achieved a milestone in her career by her knowledge of military subjects, superb military appearance and bearing, infallible leadership abilities, awareness of world events, duty performance, and overall professionalism. She sacrificed countless personal hours to prepare herself for the Special Troops Battalion (Rear) and 4th Sustainment Brigade (Provisional) quarterly/annual board, which led to her being selected over her peers as the Special Troops Battalion (Rear) and 4th Sustainment Brigade (Provisional) NCO of the Year FY 12.
Soldier of the Month Board Winner
PFC Kettlebaum set the example for all other soldiers to emulate at the Squadron's Soldier of the Month Board. His extensive knowledge of various Army topics, attention to detail, being physically and mentally tough, and impeccable military bearing set him apart from his peers and was instrumental in him winning the board over seven other qualified Soldiers from the Squadron. PFC Kettlebaum's hard work and professionalism has become the new standard against which other Soldiers will be measured in the future. The devoted efforts of PFC Kettlebaum reflect great credit upon himself, the U.S. Army European Command and the United States Army.
Board Development
As Soldier and NCO of the Quarter competition NCOIC, he revised all training outlines and evaluation standards for existing boards to more accurately evaluate Soldier readiness as compared to peers and recognize peformance that exceeds standards. His efforts resulted in a successful quarter board event that more accurately measured performance, challenged the Soldiers, and better prepared them for higher echelon competitions. The devoted efforts of SFC Alexander reflect great credit upon himself, the U.S. Army European Command and the United States Army.
