Battalion Master Driver
SSG XXXXX served as a License Instructor and Examiner from 03 October 2023 to 01 January 2024. She supervised, trained and licensed over 50 personnel in the Battalion in HMMWV and LMTV operations. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to safety ensured proficiency in day and night driving. She stepped up in place of the Battalion Master Driver for multiple scheduled classes during their absence, sustaining the mission and significantly enhancing the unit's operational readiness.
Drivers Training
MSG Wilson ensured that 100% of participants from the 7305th at AT were trained and obtained military drivers license which in turn parlays to a successful and safe completion of the mission. In order to accomplish this difficult task, he coordinated and taught hours of classwork followed by check rides. MSG Wilson trained and mentored three master drivers within the unit to maintain compliance and driving standards for all future training events. In addition, MSG Wilson expedited the training of additional drivers and examiners so that performance measures (check rides) can be completed within the unit in case a worst case scenario occurred. MSG Wilson meticulously plans with the success of the unit and its members in mind. MSG Wilson wears multiple hats: drivers training, physical security, DTS, motivating and encouraging soldiers to attend schools and further training.
Company Lead LE/LI
SSG Boyd played a pivotal role as the Company Lead LE/LI, which directly impacted the Unit's METL to Conduct Expeditionary Deployment Operations. Through his diligent efforts, SSG Boyd successfully trained and certified 50 service members to support as Vehicle Commanders. He assisted in two Battalion Drivers Training and several Company Seasonal training, which enabled more than 40 Soldiers to receive an Army Standard License. SSG Boyd’s contributions enabled the Company to meet the standards for the Company METAL during the EXEVAL.
Team Leader
SGT Becker was tasked with assisting Supply with turning in two M1120A2 vehicles and drawing two M1120A4 vehicles. Due to his diligent and thorough PMCS, major faults were detected prior to signing for the equipment, preventing responsibility for defects and ensuring mission readiness. SGT Becker displayed the highest level of enthusiasm, positivity and leadership during Annual Training. He ensured his Soliders were cared for at all times, and volunteered his down time, providing additional driver training to his Soldiers. SGT Becker made himself available for every mission, regardless of his workload, to assist in mission success, while providing numerous trainings to the Soliders of the Transportation Platoon, resulting in every Soldier becoming licensed on all unit vehicles at AT.
Team Leader
While assigned to Fort Stewart as the MRAP POC for the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, SFC Taylor was responsible for the issue, accountability, and maintenance of over $8 million worth of equipment without loss or damage.
SFC Taylor facilitated the training of five MRAP and one LMTV Driver's Training and sustainment training Courses, resulting in more than 100 students being licensed in preparation for their deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
