Field Artillery Surveyor
SPC Smith contributed beneficial experience in supporting numerous ceremonial survey markings. He aided with one retirement ceremony, five Battery Change of Commands, three Battalion Change of Commands and two 82nd Airborne Division Change of Commands. His invaluable knowledge assisted in earning the approval of the BCT Operations SGM and the 82nd Airborne Division CSM.
During this period, the outstanding professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Staff Sergeant Webb resulted in major contributions to the effectiveness and success of the 116th Cavalry BCT, the 148th Field Artillery, 145th BSB, and the 2-116 HHT.
Staff Sergeant Webb's endless hard work and selfless service on the Honor Guard team ensured that all the families of fallen Soldiers and Veterans were cared for with the utmost respect both before, during, and after funeral services.
Staff Sergeant Webb's hard work and dedication during Operations OIF and OND were major factors in the success of the mission for pre-mobilization and the vetting of all 116th CAV BCT Soldiers deploying to Iraq.
Staff Sergeant Webb was instrumental in the vetting of third country nationals and local nationals and as a result kept Victory Base at Access Control Point Thirteen secured and free of Enemy Combatants.
