Demonstrated exceptional expertise and precision, making a notable impact on the unit's operational capabilities by effectively directing and loading the AN/TPY-2 radar array into a C-17 aircraft. Notably, he managed this complicated and detailed procedure with a level of proficiency that not only improved the unit's capabilities but also ensured the safety of both the aircraft and the radar array. Sergeant Ryan played a key role in coordinating with load masters, showcasing strong leadership and coordination skills that contributed significantly to the success of this mission.




Served as RTO in the BCP during the 1-43 ADA deployment to CENTCOM AOR. Filled a multitude of positions including RTO and Fueler while maintaining qualification as Early Warning Specialist.




Specialist Elder's outstanding professional skill, knowledge, and leadership aided immeasurably in the successful accomplishment of the 2-1 HHB ADA BN mission by providing technical expertise for subordinate battery command posts and 14H's while assigned as an early warning specialist in the battalion TOC. Trained and evaluated during patriot gunnery certifications directly resulting in the battalion certification of all battery command post operators.




SPC Scott trained and coached the entire team on proper methods and strategies to lay the tactical site. Upon emplacement, SPC Scott also showed great resiliency when the radar set failed by diagnosing the issue and repairing it in a timely manner. His diligent efforts in integrating and coordinating efforts reduced the time to set up camp and become operational by 50% and reflected great credit upon himself, A Battery, 4-3 ADA and the United States Army.
