Meritorious service while serving as Special Forces liaison to the U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party while deployed with the 13th Air Support Operations Squadron, Fort Carson Army Installation, Colorado from XXXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXX. Staff Sergeant Bradley Lemmon demonstrated his instructional ability as he coordinated and facilitated over 100 hours of joint fire hands-on training to include practical and simulator assisted rigorous training, which culminated in the successful execution of two Green Flag exercises. In addition, the leadership and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Lemmon in a joint, allied, multi-national environment contributed to the effectiveness and success of Operation Atlantic Resolve. At these austere locations he was quickly and efficiently able to establish a joint fires training and execution plan to include tactics, techniques and procedures for rapid employment of air and surface fires with allied and partner nation capabilities, thereby adding to a positive deterrence posture which led to the safeguarding of 10 million civilians. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Lemmon reflect credit upon himself, the 10th Special Forces Group and the United States Army.




FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS A PROJECT ENGINEER IN THE ISRAEL AREA OFFICE, EUROPE DISTRICT, US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS (USACE). MASTER SERGEANT LEMMON QUICKLY MASTERED USACE PROCEDURES AND FLAWLESSLY MANAGED MULTIPLE DUTIES AS A PROJECT ENGINEER, QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE, AND OFFICE ENGINEER IN SUPPORT OF THE ISRAEL AREA OFFICE. MASTER SERGEANT LEMMON'S EFFORTS EPITOMIZE THE CORPS' TRADITION OF ARMY EXCELLENCE AND HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIM, THE US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




Staff Sergeant Smith distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Special Reconnaissance NCO, 17th Special Tactics Squadron, 24th Special Operations Wing, Fort Benning, Georgia. During this period, the outstanding professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Smith played a critical role in support of the 75th Ranger Regiment. He led a three million dollar overhaul of the SUAS program and reorganized unit capabilities. In addition, Sergeant Smith validated a five million dollar Joint Special Operations weather sensor program by delivering crucial feedback for research, development, and employment of the sensor in the combat theater. Further, Sergeant Smith aided command-level decisions and levied weather observations data for over 420 combat missions and 181 named objectives in support of the Joint Task Force. Finally, Sergeant Smith led the way by establishing a Department of Defense direct fire capability within the unit thus increasing its capability and lethality for future combat. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Smith reflect credit upon himself, the 17th Special Tactics Squadron and the United States Army.
