MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS QUARRYING SPECIALIST, 11TH ENGINEER BATTALION, 2ND INFANTRY DIVISION, CAMP HUMPHREYS, KOREA FROM XXXXXXXX TO XXXXXXXX. SERGEANT CLINTON'S EFFORTS HAVE STRENGTHENED THE KO13-805 BACK FILL ALLEY AND EXTEND SERVICE ROAD PROJECT AND HAS GREATLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE COMMAND MISSION. AS SENIOR QUARRYING SPECIALIST, HE EXPERTLY SUPERVISED TWO SOLDIERS, TWO SEABEES, AND THREE SOUTH KOREAN COUNTERPARTS DURING THE U-DITCH PROJECT TO IMPROVE ROAD DRAINAGE. THIS CONSISTED OF THE DEMOING OF A 48FT X 6FT X 3FT CONCRETE V-DITCH AND THE INSTALLATION OF A 47FT X 5FT X 2FT U-DITCH AND THEN COMPLETING THE PROJECT WITH THE PLACEMENT OF FIVE CUBIC YARDS OF CONCRETE TO REPAIR A CONCRETE PAD. ADDITIONALLY, HE MANAGED TO EXPERTLY REMOVE 10 CUBIC METERS OF ASPHALT WITHOUT DAMAGING EXISTING WATER OR SEWER LINES WHICH PREVENTED ANY REWORK OR PROJECT DELAYS. FURTHER, HE HELPED ENHANCE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ARMY AND NMCB THREE BY PARTICIPATING IN THE ANNUAL ARMY VS NAVY FLAG FOOTBALL GAME. SERGEANT CLINTON'S SELFLESS SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, AND DEDICATION TO DUTY ARE IN KEEPING WITH THE FINEST TRADITIONS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE 11TH ENGINEER BATTALION AND THE UNITED STATE ARMY.
