Under shifting command and conditions, he organized and prepared the unit for redeployment and reintegration into central region upon completion of their 15 month deployment with zero loss of accountabilty. Meritorious service while serving as Government Network Operations Center (GNOC) Operator, 89th Communications Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland from 20 September 2016 to 20 October 2019. During this period, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Henrietta Lujan resulted in major contributions to the effectiveness and success of the Government Network Operations Center. She supervised maintenance around the clock on a critical microwave link and, when faced with hurricane damages, led an emergency repair team to replace failed components which restored the link for a high priority Presidential mission within 30 minutes. Sergeant Lujan's actions as Government Network Operations Center Operator reflect credit upon herself, the U.S. Army Signal Command and the United States Army.
Meritorious service while serving as Deputy Program Manger, Active Denial Technology, High Powered Microwave Applications Branch, Air Force Research Lab Directed Energy Directorate, Kirtland AFB, from XXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXX. During this period, Master Sergeant Jules Mason championed a $100M Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) program and led a 9-man team responsible for planning and executing eight national and international demonstrations, tests, and events. While at Kirtland he was able certify the system as HERO safe, a first for W Band radio frequency weapons systems. In addition, he was also instrumental in reinvigorating Department of Defense level interest in the transition of directed energy weapons in the current battlefield.
