MSG Yulee performed in an outstanding manner and served as the critical and driving force in overcoming four major but classified SECRET mission challenges on XXXXXX, XXXXXX, XXXXXX, AND XXXXXX. His quick reactions and problem-solving abilities resulted in minimal disruption to operational readiness.
MSG Yulee's efficiency and motivation greatly contributed to our unit posting the highest results in program history on the NORAD IG-led Ground-Based Alert Force Evaluation (GBAFE) with a "go" on all J6-related areas. MSG Yulee regularly demonstrated a maturity beyond his grade when he routinely interfaced with various non-governmental agencies and multi-service representatives in order to ensure the Task Force Commander's sensor, communications, and network architectural systems remained operational and capable of defending the National Capital Region. During this time he maintained a 99% Operational Readiness Rate (ORR) for weapons, systems, and sensor sites.
MSG Yulee embodied professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to mission accomplishment by ensuring the successful installation and implementation of the NCR-IADS version 3.3 system hardware and software upgrade, a total systems overhaul and rebuild of five NCR-IADS primary network architectural systems. Additionally, he laid the foundation for the successful implementation of the NCR-IADS version 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 system hardware and software upgrades.

S6 NCOIC
During the pre-mobilization training for the 1-151 IN BN, SFC Johnson attended the Leadership Training Program held at Ft. Knox to prepare for overseeing the deployment. As acting BN S6, he developed the comm portion of the Operations order directing movement from CAMP ATTERBURY, IN to FORT STEWART, GA. SFC Johnson's professionalism and knowledge were a contributing factor to the successful transition from CAMP ATTERBURY to FORT STEWART.
As the S6 NCOIC of the 1-151 IN BN, he developed, coordinated, and supervised the Battalion Maintenance Plan for all communications equipment and ensured sufficient personnel were trained on the new communication systems that the Battalion would use while deployed in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. SFC Johnson personally scheduled the training for the SINCGARS radio, the DAGR (Defense Advanced GPS Receiver), the BFT (Blue Force Tracker) and the MBITR (Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio) systems.
SFC Johnson developed and implemented training to ensure that communications personnel were properly trained on PMCS and troubleshooting procedures and had the necessary tools and test equipment for the assigned communications equipment. This foresight and preparation enabled the communications section to readily move personnel from task to task without interruption and increased the level of support provided to the Battalion elements.
While deployed at COB Speicher, he planned, coordinated and directed the conversion of Microsoft Office 2007 to Microsoft Office 2010 on over 100 tactical computers. His dedication to this project ensured file integrity, interoperability and minimal downtime for the Battalion end users. SFC Johnson's oversight of this project ensured the Battalion was able to continue operations in support of Combat Logistical Patrols without interruption.
