(CUI) SFC McNamee distinguished herself as an Army Counterintelligence (ACI) Sergeant by building and maintaining operational relationships with personnel assigned at two critical infrastructure facilities. By building and maintaining the operational relationship, SFC McNamee enabled information sharing in support of the facilities which contributed to supporting Department of Defense elements worldwide and ACI. This information sharing is vital to the overall success of Liberty Resident Agency (LRA), Army Counterintelligence Command, and the Army.

(CUI) SFC McNamee demonstrated superior leadership and administrative support as the LRA's Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC). As the LRA NCOIC, SFC McNamee contributed to Region One's overall mission success and unit readiness. SFC McNamee provided ample leadership, mentorship, and guidance while also conducting daily operations as expected of a CI Sergeant. SFC McNamee's leadership style provided a non-hostile environment in which six LRA NCOs and 10 Partnering Agents could learn and develop themselves as Soldiers and Agents.

(CUI) SFC McNamee provided integral support to a complicated joint investigation wherein the subject worked with the Army's research and development career field. She coordinated activities with multiple military and federal law enforcement agencies and briefed decision makers at the Senior Executive Service level to assist with mitigating risk to their organizations and the Army.

(CUI) During her tenure, SFC McNamee consistently demonstrated superior technical expertise and unwavering commitment to the development of her subordinates. Her innovative ways to approach complex mission sets enhanced LRA's capabilities and prepared Soldiers for complex and demanding missions. Her initiatives in modernizing operational procedures and improving communication systems greatly increased LRA's efficiency and effectiveness.

(CUI) SFC McNamee's exceptional performance and dedication to service were instrumental in the successful execution of numerous critical operations. Her ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a high standard of excellence, set a benchmark for others to follow. Her tireless efforts and selfless service have earned her the respect and admiration of her peers and superiors alike.




Meritorious service while serving as Counterintelligence Agent, Office of Special Investigations, Kunsan Air Base, Korea from XXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXX. During this period, Agent Lesterman played a key role focusing on the nexus between the criminal and counterintelligence investigative efforts in Korea. He assisted in launching an operation targeting widespread human trafficking in the entertainment district of Songtan, Republic of Korea. The intelligence collected through his innovative source operations identified military members being exploited by entertainers in local clubs for personal and official information. His keen insight led to heightened Force Protection awareness and six clubs being placed off-limits, positively impacting the entire Korean Peninsula. Handpicked to provide critical manning assistance to Detachment 613, Kunsan Air Base, Agent Lesterman unraveled a bribery scheme involving a Korean National. In addition, his role was vital in the formation of a joint task force with local law enforcement resulting in the identification of three additional perpetrators and the documentation of over 50,000 dollars in bribes. In an effort to utilize Korean Special Investigators more efficiently, Agent Lesterman provided training on surveillance and surveillance detection which enabled Korean Special Investigators to become involved in U.S. counterintelligence efforts for the first time. The sterling accomplishments of Agent Lesterman reflect great credit upon himself, the Office of Special Investigations and the United States Army.




During Southern Vigilance 2013, SGT Smith was a major factor in his Counterintelligence Team's successful performance. SGT Smith operated as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in a high ops tempo environment, routinely working 12 hour days to ensure mission success. SGT Smith led in the development of his Counterintelligence Team's focus which paved the way for their successful performance during Southern Vigilance 2013. SGT Smith's attention to detail while performing his duties as a Counterintelligence Special Agent led to the generation of two Counterintelligence Investigations during Southern Vigilance 2013 which produced information that could be found nowhere else.




o successfully planned and executed 10 route reconnaissance missions traveling over 500 miles of hazardous roads to collect force protection data without incident

o monitored the activities of 3 AOR countries in order to provide appropriate travel advisories to 200 personnel leaving SCAB for mission essential or MWR travel

o maintained professional bearing and confidence while briefing senior officers regarding present intelligence concerns, coined by JTF-Bravo commander
