Master Sergeant Kane's diligence, hard work, and commitment to the S2 shop helped produce numerous quality intelligence assessments. During planning development for the Battalion's deployment to Operation Beyond the Horizon, he led the extensive PMES II analysis of both Panama and El Salvador, which was briefed to the Battalion commander and distributed during IPB of the Operation. In addition, Master Sergeant Kane displayed the utmost professionalism and work ethic while acting as the S2 PSYOP SME during the Emerald Warrior Exercise. At the exercise, he excelled while supplementing target audience analysis and was personally recognized by the supported 7th Special Forces Group. Finally, Sergeant Kane contributed greatly to his section's overall performance within the 17th PSYOP Battalion, expanding their responsibilities to supported units by 30 percent.
