While serving as an Abrams Tank System Maintainer, SPC Diego maintained 14 M1A2 SEP-V2 Main Battle Tanks valued at over 60 million dollars. His meticulous attention to detail enabled Battle Cat Company to maintain an Operational Readiness Rate of 95% during his tenure. SPC Snuff's work ethic facilitated the accomplishment of all collective training tasks in an efficient and effective manner, which contributed to the overall mission success of the 2nd Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment and the Ready First Armored Brigade Combat Team.
PFC Fortner maintained the standard and took possession of an M7 Forward Repair System (FRS), M1076 Trailer, M3 Flat rack, and M1075A1 Pallet Loading System (PLS) outfitted with an Enhanced Container Handling Unit while his supervisors were on leave and attending Professional Military Education (ECHU). During the months of July and August 2022, as the only mechanic in his squad, he maintained all vehicles and brought E442 the PLS and E442F the FRS to Fully Mission Capable (FMC) level.
Meritorious service as M1 System Maintainer, Golf Company, 134th Brigade Support Battalion, from 02 February 2017 to 20 March 2022.
