While assigned to the 505th QM BN Petroleum Laboratory Section, SGT Olegeriil performed his duties as a Quality Analysis NCO in a superior manner. SGT Olegeriil conducted 30 tanker operations analyzing over 68 million gallons of Defense Logistics Agency owned fuel in two different discharge sites throughout Okinawa without discrepancy. His dedication to the Army, profound sense of duty, and relentless commitment to excellence was essential in the success of petroleum distribution of on grade product for all joint services.




Staff Sergeant Oleksa managed the acquisition, storage and dispensing of 35,000 gallons of JP8 from 1 June 2014-30 June 2014, managing fueling operations in 3 different locations simultaneously. Staff Sergeant Oleksa coordinated the refuel points from home station to Camp Shelby and back. Staff Sergeant Oleksa trained all members of his section to be proactive in fueling safety procedures resulting in the flawless and safe execution of all tasks. Staff Sergeant Oleksa instilled the desire to put forth the maximum effort on all missions and motivated his Soldiers to take on tough missions and succeed.
