MOS 94P, Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Repairer Awards

Outstanding achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Driver during annual training. During this period, Specialist Johnston exceeded requirements and expectations during cross training within the launcher to ensure that the entire crew excelled while maneuvering the M270A1 MLRS. He demonstrated initiative by developing a local inventory, ensuring all sensitive items were securely stored during the 2021 field training exercise. In addition, Specialist Johnston assumed responsibility for communications and proactively took actions to ensure the overall success of the platoon. Specialist Johnston's extraordinary efforts and accomplishments during this period reflected credit upon himself, the 142nd Field Artillery Regiment and the United States Army.
