Sergeant Elliot distinguished himself while assigned to the 1119th Backfill Company through clear and sincere dedication to duty, exceptional critical thinking, and a genuine desire to serve Soldiers in support of the organizational mission. He readily assumed duties that directly enhanced company and battalion operations and directly contributed to mission accomplishment. SGT Elliot's experience and expertise are unparalleled among his peers. SGT Elliot revived and executed training to fill a longstanding deficiency. His efforts directly resulted in numerous training events to include an obstacle course, a paintball "shoot, move, communicate" event, three live fire marksmanship ranges, MOS skill sustainment training, and quarterly CPR classes. He is responsible for the development of a platoon training schedule which engaged more than 50 Soldiers in providing instructional classes.
