MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Review of Suspense of Favorable Personnel Action (SPC Commander's Investigation)
1. Reference AR 600-8-2, Suspension of Favorable Personnel Actions (Flag), and paragraph 1-9.
2. The DA 268 initiated on SPC XXXXXXX was approved on 20171102. This is the Battalion level monthly review of the action.
3. The Company Commander, XXXXXXX, has counseled the Soldier and determined that (Initial appropriate block):
______ (A) The flag will remain in effect. The Soldier has not demonstrated the required rehabilitation to overcome the flag. The Soldier will be reevaluated monthly.
______ (B) The flag will be removed. The Soldier has successfully demonstrated the ability to overcome the flag. The DA 268 removal action will be closed favorable. The battery will maintain a copy in the local files for one year. After the disposition period, all references to this flag will be destroyed.
______ (C) The flag will be removed unfavorably. The Soldier has received punishment / in the punishment phase. The DA 268 removal action will be closed unfavorable. The battery will maintain a copy in the local files for one year. After the disposition period, all references to this flag will be destroyed.
_______ (D) The flag will remain in effect. Further, as required by the reference above, separation proceedings will be initiated under the appropriate paragraph of AR 635-200. This Soldier clearly does not demonstrate potential for further service.
