* __________________________, this counseling is to inform you on what is expected of you as a Paratrooper in Headquarters Platoon, HHT, 1-91 CAV.
* While in Headquarters platoon you will be assigned duties such as supply, armorer, CBRN, etc. You are expected to perform your duties while also keeping up with your responsibilities as a Soldier. The expectation is that you will remain physically fit and tactically proficient in your MOS. Do not allow your basic Soldier skills to degrade while in Headquarters. You will be expected to live and work IAW the Army values. An explanation is provided below:
* Loyalty: You are expected to show loyalty to your family, your country and your unit. Avoid situations involving domestic violence or clashes with other members in our organization. If there is an issue, let myself or another NCO know so that we can assist.
* Duty: A general sense of duty and responsibility to perform are expected of every Soldier. You are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to every place of duty with the appropriate uniform and equipment. If you are unable to accomplish this due to something beyond your control, contact myself or another NCO to let them know. Your duty uniform should be serviceable when on duty and your dress uniform needs to be inspection ready at all times. Refer to AR 670-1 and DA PAM 670-1 for grooming and uniform standards.
* Respect: Personal views on politics or social norms should be kept to yourself while at work. Respect and support the Army's SHARP and EO programs. Overall, treat others with respect. If you feel you are being disrespected or treated poorly, bring it up to myself or another NCO off to the side or feel free to utilize the Chain of Command's open door policy.
* Selfless Service: We are a team and I expect everyone in Headquarters to act as such. You will support your peers in their tasks and they will support you as well. If you feel you need assistance in something, let me know so I can delegate more personnel to assist you.
* Honor: You are a Soldier in and out of uniform. Ensure your behavior is aligned with the high moral expectations of the Army. Avoid situations which may put you at odds with UCMJ, local laws or could embarrass the Army. This extends to behavior online.
* Integrity: Trust is extremely important as a Soldier. Lies, theft and cheating will not be tolerated. Integrity applies to actions and decisions you make while in front of everyone as well as behind closed doors. Respectful candor is expected of you. If you see something amiss, say something respectfully.
* Personal Courage: In the Airborne community, some day you may be expected to jump out of an aircraft into close combat with the enemy. I expect you to practice the value of personal courage on a daily basis in small things as well as big things. Do not shy away from difficult or fear inducing tasks. With this said, keep safety in mind and work to mitigate risk whenever possible.
