Key Points Discussion
The purpose of this counseling session is to discuss the current balance of your opportunity leave as indicated on your Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).
A low balance on your LES may have implications for future events, such as emergency leave requests. It is probable that a request would not be approved by the company commander due to the low balance on your LES. In rare cases where leave is approved, despite the low balance, it will reflect as negative.
Should your leave balance become negative, you will be unable to take ordinary leave until your balance is restored to a positive amount on your LES.
