MEMORANDUM FOR SFC Chad G. Reynolds, XXX-XX-1355

SUBJECT: Memorandum of Reprimand

1. This letter of reprimand is a result of your actions on 10 August 2020, when you blantantly disregarded the directive that was outlined in a counseling that 1SG Anderson gave you on 27 July 2020. The actions that have brought us to this point are your inability to manage time, delegating assigned tasks to an overly tasked Soldier, and your inability to communicate.

2. Your misconduct and insubordination causes me to question your judgment and professionalism as a SFC. As a SFC, you are required to enforce standards and hold your Soldiers accountable for their actions. I hold you accountable for enforcing standards.

3. This reprimand is imposed as a punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. It is intended to promptly and directly demonstrate my disapproval of your misconduct. I intend to file this reprimand in your local Military Personnel Record Jacket. If you should decide to submit matters in rebuttal, extenuation or mitigation, I will carefully consider them in making a final determination on the disposition of this reprimand. You have one week from recept of this memorandum to submit such matters, and the response, if any, should be by endorsement to this memorandum. I will withhold final decision on improsing or filing this memorandum until that time period has passed.
