I am writing this letter of recommendation for Andrew Cannon, who is submitting an application to join the 301st Rescue Squadron. I have had the privilege of working with Andrew during our time together in the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade. I had the opportunity to observe Andrew's performance and dedication firsthand as a pilot and leader, especially during our time in Malaysia and Japan as part of Pacific Pathways 2017.
During our time together, Andrew served as a 1st Lieutenant in the 25th CAB, and his contributions were truly outstanding. He consistently displayed exceptional dedication to his duties and a remarkable work ethic. Andrew's commitment to the mission and his fellow service members was evident in everything he did. Andrew's performance in the challenging and dynamic environments of Malaysia and Japan was particularly noteworthy. His ability to adapt to new situations, think critically under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team were instrumental to the success of our missions. Andrew consistently demonstrated leadership qualities that set him apart from his peers.
