Health Services Material Officer
Serves as a Health Services Materiel Officer; manages the procurement of all medical supplies; ensures medical supplies are stored and distributed properly; advises staff on medical property management and accountability; manages blood storage and distribution and medical service operations; plans and directs activities related to the receipt, storage, inventory, and issue of all Class VIII medical supplies; supervises the collection, accountability, and disposition of all classes of supply classified as salvage, surplus, abandoned, or economically unsustainable.
Health Services Logistics Staff Officer
Serves as a Health Services logistics staff officer; advises the commander on medical logistical matters and unit capabilities; plans, directs, and implements the overlapping functions of materiel management and their integration into the overall DoD logistics system; facilitates the efficient interface between the Army in the field, wholesale logistics, and industry; directs and exercises staff supervision of units engaged in the acquisition, tracking, receipt, storage, issue, and distribution of medical equipment, medical repair parts, and medical supplies.
Health Services Material Officer
Serves as Health Services Material Officer; manages the functional areas related to services supporting health care delivery; serves as the focal point for medical property management and accountability; advises the commander on matters regarding supply and services support and other medical logistical functions; develops, coordinates, and supervises the supply support portion of an integrated logistics support plan; supervises units engaged in medical supply, medical facilities, blood storage and distribution, optical fabrication and production, medical service operations, life cycle facility management, and other logistical support.
