91L2O Construction Equipment Repairer
Performed field level maintenance on construction equipment which includes that used for earth moving, grading, and compaction; lifting and loading; quarrying and rock crushing; asphalt and concrete mixing, and surfacing; water pumping; air compression equipment; performed troubleshooting of engines, power trains, fuel and electrical systems, hydraulic systems, earth-moving components, and pneumatic equipment; supervised lower grade Soldiers and provided technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties.
91L Motor Sergeant
Serves as the Motor Sergeant in a Corps asset Multi-Role Bridge Company (MRBC), assigned to the 19th Engineer Battalion; responsible for the professional development, discipline, and training of five Noncommissioned Officers and 23 Soldiers; responsible to the Commander for the daily maintenance operation of over 400 pieces of wheel, bridge, engineer, and watercraft equipment; coordinates for the service and repair of 167 pacing items valued over $14,000,000; manages daily, weekly, monthly reports and supervises the shop stock; responsible for facilities, tools, equipment, and all Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKO) valued in excess of $3,000,000.
91L20 Heavy Costruction Vehicle Repairer Mechanic
Serves as a heavy construction vehicle repairer mechanic in a Field Maintenance Team for an Engineer Forward Deployed Mobility Augmentation Company in support of the 20th Engineer Battalion; responsible for the accountability, serviceability, and maintenance of 47 pieces of equipment to include 3 RG-31A1, 14 RG-31A2, 2 MTV, 1 Forward Repair System, 3 M916A3, 3 M870A1 Trailers, 6 IVMMDs, 3 generators, 4 M984A4 Wreckers, 5 MATVs and 3 Buffalos valued at $8 million dollars; responsible for the combat readiness, training, health, welfare, discipline, and accountability of 7 Soldiers and their combat equipment.
Movement Supervisor
Supervises and performs field and sustained maintenance on tracked and wheeled vehicles, construction equipment, and special purpose equipment maintenance activities to include: power generation equipment, air conditioning/ refrigeration equipment and quartermaster and chemical equipment; performs as support maintenance machine shop supervisor or metal working supervisor; supervises recovery operations on tracked vehicles, wheeled vehicles and related activities including electrical wiring harness system repair/ maintenance.
MOS 91L - Construction Equipment Repairer
Major Duties. The construction equipment repairer supervises and performs field level maintenance on construction equipment which includes that used for earthmoving, grading, and compaction; lifting and loading; quarrying and rock crushing; asphalt and concrete mixing and surfacing; water pumping; air compression and pneumatic tools; and powered bridging. Duties for MOS 91L at each skill level are:
MOSC 91L10. Maintains and replaces brake actuators, batteries, starter motors, alternators, mechanical fuel pumps, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, control valves, drive shafts, universal joints, brake shoes, disc-brake pads, water pumps, turbochargers, cylinder heads, high-pressure fuel injection pumps, wheel bearings and seals, steering unit torque link and road wheels; adjusts engine speed governor, valves, carburetors, boom-hoist brakes, clutches, dry-disc clutches, steering brakes, track tension assemblies, fuel injector racks and steering unit brake levers; charges suspension accumulators, transmission shift accumulators, and main hydraulic accumulators.
MOSC 91L20. Performs duties in preceding skill level; supervises junior grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls engines, final drives, power trains, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components; performs welding and cutting to accomplish repairs.
MOSC 91L30. Performs duties in preceding skill level; supervises junior grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; supervises and inspects maintenance of construction, powered bridging and associated equipment; performs troubleshooting of engines, power trains, fuel and electrical systems, hydraulic systems, earth-moving components, and pneumatic equipment.
