Patriot System Repairer/94S20
Serves as an Intermediate Support Element (ISE) Patriot System Repairer responsible for the health, welfare, training, counseling and combat readiness of four Soldiers and their Families; responsible for the operational readiness of over 65 major end items valued in excess of $200,000,000; utilizes over 30 pieces of specialized sophisticated test and diagnostic equipment and over 50 technical manuals to diagnose, analyze, and repair malfunctions; responsible for over $500,000 of assigned property; works in conjunction with civilian counterparts for higher level maintenance.
94S10 Patriot System Repairer
Performs maintenance on the Patriot Information and Coordination Central (ICC), Engagement Control Station (ECS), Radar Set (RS), Antenna Mast Group (AMG), Launching Station (LS) and Communications Relay Group (CRG); troubleshoots electronic assemblies, subassemblies, modules and circuit elements using test equipment; isolates malfunctions using diagnostic software and built in test equipment (BITE); replaces defective components; operates and performs unit level maintenance on test equipment; completes maintenance and supply forms; provides technical assistance to supported units.
10-94S. MOS 94S--Patriot System Repairer (Patriot Sys Rep), CMF 94
a. Major duties. The Patriot system repairer performs or supervises field maintenance on the Patriot missile system, associated equipment and trainers. Duties for MOS 94S at each level of skill are:
(1) MOSC 94S1O. Performs field maintenance on the Patriot Information and Coordination Central (ICC), Engagement Control Station (ECS), Radar Set (RS), Antenna Mast Group (AMG), Launching Station (LS) and Communications Relay Group (CRG); performs tests and adjusts components to specific tolerances; determines shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic assemblies, subassemblies, modules and circuit elements with common and system peculiar test equipment; isolates malfunctions using automatic and semi-automatic diagnostic software, unit self test and built in test equipment (BITE); repairs unserviceable items by removing and replacing defective components; operates and performs unit level maintenance on standard and system peculiar test equipment; performs quality control measures; completes maintenance and supply forms; provides technical assistance to supported units.
(2) MOSC 94S2O. Performs duties shown in preceding level of skill and provides technical guidance to junior grade personnel in the performance of their duties; develops specialized computer software tests to evaluate suspected faults; isolates system interface malfunctions; determines serviceability and disposition of defective assemblies, subassemblies, modules and circuit elements; repairs unserviceable items by removing and replacing defective components; operates and performs field level maintenance on standard and system peculiar test equipment; performs quality control measures and serves on maintenance and inspection teams; completes maintenance and supply forms; provides technical assistance to supported units.
(3) MOSC 94S3O. Performs duties shown in preceding level of skill and provides technical guidance to junior grade personnel in the performance of their duties; performs initial, in process, and final type inspections of designated system items and their assemblies, subassemblies, modules and circuit elements; performs as maintenance technical inspector.
(4) MOSC 94S4O. Performs and supervises duties performed at preceding levels of skill; implements quality control measures; determines faulty work practices and demonstrates proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques; establishes workloads and repair priorities; establishes and maintains maintenance records; supervises maintenance and inspection teams; instructs junior grade personnel in the technical aspects of the Patriot system; prepares maintenance and supply forms.
