Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC)
Serves as the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) in a Combat Aviation Brigade consisting of five CONUS battalions: principle advisor to the commander on all Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program and policies; responsible for the sexual assault prevention training and awareness programs; communicates directly with command team in reference to sexual harassment/assault cases; provides monthly updates on victims to Division Commanding General; emphasizes the commitment to foster an environment that rejects sexual harassment/sexual assault and such behaviors; maintains liaison with the criminal investigative division, chaplain, medical and legal agencies to facilitate immediate response; directly responsible for training and mentoring 44 battalion Victim Advocates (VA) and one DA Civilian.


Brigade Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC)
Serves as Brigade Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC). Reviews, interprets, implements, and advises the Brigade Commander on DOD, DA, FORSCOM, local policies and laws regarding Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) for a Brigade Combat Team composed of over 4,000 Soldiers and family members; coordinates, implements and oversees the execution of the SHARP program; inputs and manages cases in the Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID); develops, coordinates, and conducts SHARP training; oversees response to reports of sexual assault and sexual harassment; coaches and mentors 27 Victim Advocates; provides and tracks advocacy services for victims of sexual assault.


BDE SARC
Serves as the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) in a Theater Tactical Signal Brigade consisting of four CONUS battalions: principle advisor to the commander on all Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program policies; develops and direct training programs for over 2,700 Soldiers and Civilians: conducts briefs to commanders and staff on SHARP Procedures; identifies problem areas and takes corrective actions; directly responsible for training and mentoring 44 battalion Victim Advocates (VA) SHARP Specialists; maintains liaison with the criminal investigative division, chaplain, medical and legal agencies to facilitate immediate response.


USASMA Sexual Assault Response Coordinator
Serves as the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) Sexual Assault Response Coordinator; responsible for the sexual assault prevention training and execution, management and oversight of the USASMA SHARP program; responsible for the sexual assault prevention training and awareness programs; ensures all victims of sexual harassment and sexual assault are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect; responsible for the training and discipline of one DA Civilian; communicates directly with command team in reference to sexual harassment/assault cases and provides information and updates on victims to the Commanding General on a monthly basis; emphasizes the commitment to foster an environment that rejects sexual harassment/sexual assault and attitudes that promote such behaviors; responsible for educating leaders on their roles and responsibilities regarding the SHARP program; ensures sensitive and comprehensive treatment to restore victim s health and well-being.


Brigade SARC
Responsible for managing the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program for the brigade; communicates directly with the Brigade Commander in reference to sexual harassment/assault cases and provides information and updates on victims to the Commanding General on a monthly basis; provides policy, guidance, and other information for victims of sexual harassment/assault, subordinate unit commanders, first responders, and those who seek to prevent or respond to sexual harassment/assault; emphasizes the commitment to foster an environment that rejects sexual harassment/sexual assault and attitudes that promote such behaviors.
