42A Assistant Inspector General
Serves as an Assistant Inspector General for US Army forces command; inspects, assesses, investigates and assists with matters that affect the Army's combat readiness; provides accurate and impartial information to FORSCOM leaders and commanders that enhances unity of effort to build and sustain a combat ready and globally responsive Total Force; provides IG findings and determinations that impact individual careers, Soldiers and family support programs; contributes to Army efforts to reduce fraud, waste and abuse.


NCOIC, Inspection Team
Oversees Internal Control Toolset for 4 Battalions and 2 tenant units; assesses mission readiness and compliance; instructs 22 NCOs/inspectors on policy; tracks 110 programs and develops metrics for assessment; conducts scheduled and unscheduled inspections; reports findings in IG Evaluation Management System; develops and provides solutions; tracks and updates discrepancies; provides monthly metrics to Commander's Inspection Management Board.


Inspector
Trains and certifies Inspection Team members; directs functional program managers; develops and organizes inspection reports; manages Inspector General Evaluation Management System; validates, coordinates and tracks deficiency corrective action plans to closure; executes Commander's Inspection program; develops and schedules inspection plans for 4 battalions and subordinate units; evaluates and validates self-assessment plans.
