As the Judge Advocate General assigned to Joint Task Force Heartland Response, LTC Pelosi worked tirelessly to ensure that all missions were conducted in accordance with guidance and regulations from both the Army and Air National Guard elements. This required frequent coordination with his peers both internal and external to the Nebraska National Guard in order to maintain situational awareness of lessons learned throughout the nation to actions taken in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to the missions specific to Joint Task Force Heartland Response, this required legal review of all policies, legal advice to the Commander, and managing all legal inquiries and investigations.
