Outstanding achievement while serving as Power Distribution Specialist while deployed for 179 days to Feteşti Air Base, Romania, in support of the Ukraine Crisis exercise ATLAS GUARDIAN. During this period, Sergeant Colson improved the host nation infrastructure and coordinated the acquisition of equipment and supplies needed to provide the required power for the detachment's Deployable Debrief and Intel Facility, enabling the projection of power for 35 Air Force, Marine, and Host Nation Aircraft that flew over 400 sorties. In addition, Sergeant Colson assisted in the development of the power distribution plan for the Security Forces Squadron's 165,000 dollar Counter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Surveillance System, which expanded the network within Europe by twenty percent. Finally, Sergeant Colson assisted in ensuring the successful mission transition from the United States Air Force and Army to the Spanish Air Force, ensuring Aviano Air Base's redeployment capabilities and reconstituting 230 assets worth over twenty million dollars. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Colson reflect great credit upon himself, the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron, and the United States Air Force.
