MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS GEOSPATIAL ENGINEER, 81ST CIVIL AFFAIRS BATTALION, FORT HOOD, TEXAS, FROM JULY 2019 TO AUGUST 2022. DURING THIS PERIOD, SPECIALIST MILLER, AS THE ONLY GEOSPATIAL ENGINEER IN THE ENTIRE 81ST CIVIL AFFAIRS BATTALION, UTILIZED HIS EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE TO STAND UP THE BATTALION'S FIRST CIVIL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (CIM) CELL AND PROVIDED EXTENSIVE GEOSPATIAL SUPPORT TO FOUR COMPANIES IN SUPPORT OF THE U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY. IN ADDITION, HE DEVELOPED GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS THAT GREATLY EXPANDED THE S2 DIRECTORATE'S CAPABILITY TO PROVIDE REAL TIME INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT FOR THE BATTALION. FURTHER, SPECIALIST MILLER SUPPORTED THE BATTALION'S CULMINATING EXERCISE (CULEX) BY SERVING AS THE SERGEANT MAJOR'S DRIVER AND AS RADIO OPERATOR. HE RAN THE RELAY POINT BETWEEN THE MOUNT SITE AND THE BATTALION TOC WHICH WAS INTEGRAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THE EXERCISE AND ULTIMATELY PREPARED ALL SOLDIERS FOR THE UPCOMING DEPLOYMENT. SPECIALIST MILLER'S COMMENDABLE PERFORMANCE IS IN KEEPING WITH THE FINEST TRADITIONS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECTS GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE 81ST CIVIL AFFAIRS BATTALION AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
