MOS 25Z Visual Information Chief Awards

Meritorious service while serving as NCOIC of Mission Management, 9th Intelligence Squadron, 548th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group, Beale Air Force Base, California from 10 September 2017 to 20 October 2018. During this period, Sergeant Maxwell managed the production and dissemination of 37 Operation ENDURING FREEDOM Optical Bar Camera missions which aided in security for voter registration at polling sites throughout Afghanistan. Moreover, he maintained a 10,000 roll film library that enabled historical comparisons and led to the capture of 23 High Value Individuals and the seizure of 33 weapons. Additionally, he helped deliver humanitarian support to earthquake ravaged Haiti during five Optical Bar Camera missions and planned convoy routes in support of Non-Governmental Organizations' expedited relief supply distribution. Further, he oversaw eight Joint Task Force-North missions that enhanced homeland security and improved counter-narcotic and border security operations. As a mission manager, he developed a highly visual operations status display that provided immediate situational awareness to all worldwide customers. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Maxwell reflect credit upon himself, the 9th Intelligence Squadron and the United States Army.
