Private First Class Borg assisted the HHC Track team in unscheduled services and installing parts to keep the two M577A3 tracked vehicles in the TOC running. His dedication allowed the TOC to communicate and keep 4-6IN in the fight. As a Track Vehicle Repairer, PFC Borg distinguished himself by outstanding achievement in vehicle repair and maintenance during NTC Decisive Action Rotation 24-08 ensuring maintenance mission readiness at 93%.




SPC Wright was recently apart of Port operations in Charleston, South Carolina and Klaipeda Lithuania aiding with wheeled and tracked vehicle recoveries and overseeing all pieces of equipment across spartan brigade to be safely uploaded upon the prescribed vessel.




SPC. Walker provided teaching and understanding of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and M113 Tracked Vehicles to Foreign Nationals. He taught how to properly maintain both the vehicles along with assisting in proper operation of both vehicles. He assisted in the responsibility in the Movement of the entire brigade form Poland to Germany with precise execution and safety. While also excelling in Maintenance services of the Bradley Fighting Vehicles, SPC. Walker helmed the services of all of the Black Foot troops M113 track vehicles.




Served with distinction, honor and selfless commitment to his unit and to the units he supported. His dedication to service proved paramount throughout his entire tour as shop foreman. Not only did he perform duties as shop foreman, he oversaw the clean air conversion for more than 300 M35 series 2 1/2 ton cargo trucks. He was the company's NCOIC for the annual brigade rodeo, bringing back 14 of the 20 trophies that were awarded. SSG - - - -'s dynamic and enthusiastic leadership along with his expert technical skills were essential for the overall success of the 61st Maintenance Company, Camp Kyle Korea. SSG - - - - -'s professionalism, commitment and mission before self reflects great credit upon himself and the United States Army.




SPC JAVIER SUCCESSFULLY SERVED IN THE SENIOR DUTY POSITION OF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (XO) OF E CO (BEB FSC) 228TH BSB THROUGHOUT THE ANNUAL TRAINING PERIOD. WITH NO FORMAL TRAINING AND LITTLE GUIDANCE, SPC JAVIER WILLINGLY ASSUMED THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION AND KEPT ACCURATE AND UP TO DATE RUNNING ESTIMATES FOR ALL BATTALION CLASSES OF SUPPLY AND COMPANY TRAINING EVENTS ON A DAILY BASIS TO ENSURE THE OPERATIONAL SUCCESS OF THE COMPANY. SPC JAVIER'S SUPERB PERFORMANCE OF DUTY REFLECTS GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE 228TH BRIGADE SUPPORT BATTALION AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




AS SENIOR TRACKED VEHICLE MECHANIC, SSG BERDHARDT PROVIDED EXPERT TECHNICAL EXPERTISE ON TRACKED VEHICLE CARRIERS DURING THE TABLE VI AND TABLE XII GUNNERY AT FORT RILEY, KANSAS SUPPORTING THE 2ND COMBINED ARMS BATTALION/137TH INFANTRY'S ANNUAL TRAINING. HIS EFFORTS FACILITATED TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR EACH OF THE M113A3 AND M1068A3 USER ELEMENTS DESPITE A FREQUENT EQUIPMENT FAILURE RATE. SSG BERNHARDT RETURNED FOUR M113A3 MEDIC TRACKS AND FIVE M1068A1 COMMAND CARRIERS TO FULLY MISSION CAPABLE STATUS, ENABLING THE COMBAT MEDIC SECTION TO CONTINUE TRAINING WITHIN 48 HOURS DESPITE A LENGTHY TURN-AROUND FOR REPAIR PARTS. WORKING AROUND THE CLOCK, SSG BERNHARDT MANAGED A TEAM OF THREE SOLDIERS TO PROVIDE TRACK VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TO ENABLE THE 2/137 HHC AND 2137TH FSC TO CONTINUE TRAINING VITAL TO THE BATTALION'S MISSION DURING GUNNERY. BY PRIORITIZING MAINTENANCE EFFORTS, HE OPTIMIZED THE EFFECT OF A LIMITED STOCK OF REPAIR PARTS AND KEPT THE TRAINING GOING FOR THE MEDIC SECTION. SSG BERNHARDT'S EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE, PROFESSIONALISM, AND DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT ON HIMSELF, THE 2137TH FORWARD SUPPORT COMPANY AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




SGT GALVAN'S FORESIGHT, HARD WORK, AND DETERMINATION LED TO THE SUCCESSFUL ON-SITE REPAIR OF 13 WHEELED VEHICLES AND FOUR TRACKED VEHICLES CRITICAL TO THE BATTALION'S TABLE VI AND TABLE XII LIVE FIRE EXERCISE DURING ANNUAL TRAINING AT FORT RILEY, KANSAS. SGT GALVAN'S WILLINGNESS TO TRAIN SOLDIERS AND DIAGNOSE MECHANICAL ISSUES AND CROSS-TRAIN ON ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIERS CONTRIBUTED GREATLY TO THE 2137TH FORWARD SUPPORT COMPANY'S ABILITY TO SUPPORT THE BATTALION'S MISSION. IN THE ABSENCE OF HIS LEADERSHIP, SGT GALVAN TOOK CHARGE OF SHOP OPERATIONS AND UTILIZED SOLDIERS ON THE MAINTENANCE TEAM AND TOOL SETS IN THE PLATOON TO QUICKLY REPAIR MISSION CRITICAL WHEELED AND TRACKED VEHICLES TO STANDARD AND RETURN THEM TO THE USER IN AN EXPEDIENT MANNER. SERGEANT GALVAN'S PROFESSIONALISM, LEADERSHIP, DEVOTION TO DUTY AND THE MISSION REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, 2137TH FORWARD SUPPORT COMPANY AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
