DURING THIS PERIOD, SERGEANT RANDALL YOUNG SERVED AS A MEMBER OF THE RIMPAC ADVANCED PARTY CAMP SUPPORT CREW AND USED HIS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL IN THE SUCCESSFUL MOVEMENT OF OVER 200 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT AND CAMP FACILITY SUPPORT GEAR FROM FLIGHT LINE PEARL HARBOR TO THE MAIN BASE CAMP IN AIELA, HAWAII. IN ADDITION, SERGEANT YOUNG'S FORESIGHT AND PLANNNG RESULTED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF OVER 30 ALASKAN TENTS AND 4 SHOWER FACILITIES THREE DAYS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. DUE TO HIS DILIGENCE, THESE FACILITIES WERE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OPERATIONAL AROUND THE CLOCK, SUPPORTED OVER 320 MILITARY PERSONNEL FROM EIGHT COUNTRIES, AND PROVIDED THE FOUNDTION OF THE SUCCESSFUL EXERCISE.
