MEMORANDUM FOR 2ND Armor Brigade Combat Team, 1ST Calvary Division, Fort Cavazos, TX 76544
SUBJECT: Request to Expedite Visa Application for PV2 _______'s spouse
1. Service member (SM) ______ is currently serving in the United States Army at Fort Cavazos 1CD, 2ABCT, 15BSB Alpha Company.
2. SM is currently living in military housing and his Basic Housing Allowance (BAH) is being deducted every month.
3. SM is concerned about recent political unrest in Kenya. The SM is worried about his family's security and safety hence unable to perform his duties diligently during the following required training events.
a) 10 July 2024 - 31 July 2024
b) Oct 2024 - Nov 2024 National Training Center (NTC)
c) 9-month deployment starting 2026
4. During these periods, SM will be in training for weeks and months at a time and will need his wife and daughter to look after his house and properties. Service member's wife's name is ________, receipt number______. It is vital that Service member _______ has his wife's visa process expedited so he can effectively and successfully serve his country, while being assured of the safety of his family.
